MEXICO

Yes! Trevor and I finally went on a trip...by ourselves! We chose to go to Cabo San Lucas. It was very stressful trying to get everything ready to go and anticipating leaving Claire but once we were gone we had a blast. It was so relaxing not needing to worry about anything but swimming in the beach and laying by the pool. We stayed right in town by the marina so we could hang out at our resort or we could go to the big shopping center. At the shopping center we did some normal things that we don't always get to do at home like go bowling and go to the movies.
Trev being his dorky self
Our hotel's big advertisement was that it had its own private beach. We thought it was pretty funny when we got there and there was just a little rope separating "our beach" and the rest of the beach where all the bars and parties and many many hagglers were. So as soon as you started walking onto the "private beach" all the people selling stuff would run to the rope and yell at you. My favorite part of the whole trip was when we rented kayaks and rode out to a real private beach. It was a little cove where NO ONE was, just Trevor and I. I didn't want to take my camera in the water so we took a waterproof disposable camera and I was so sad because all of our pictures look like there are water drops all over them. go figure. So I didn't really get any pictures but once we got to the little cove we just swam in the ocean and watched all the crabs and just laid out, it was so relaxing. The next day we rented jet skis which was also really fun and none of the pictures turned out :( we even saw a seal or something swimming in the water right next to us. Our trip was so much fun! We got to relax so much and eat good food and just spend time with each other. We are so grateful to have awesome families who watched Claire while we were gone and we didn't have to worry at all.
